Muddy Puddles Pricing
Prices for most programs and services are governed by the NDIS Pricing Arrangements (prices will not exceed the limits stated in this price guide). Prices are subject to change as the NDIS Pricing Arrangements are updated. If there is a price change, clients will be notified by email. Please note that prices may change during the life of a service agreement.
All prices are listed against our program and service information advertised on our website and all transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Muddy Puddles is a registered NDIS service provider. We deliver supports for the following support categories:
Capacity building: Improved daily living skills; improved relationships; increased social and community participation; improved health and wellbeing; coordination of supports; improved life choices.
Core: Assistance with social and community participation; assistance with daily life.
Fee for service
If we have capacity, we will accept fee for service (i.e. non-NDIS funded clients).
For those clients not funded by NDIS, subsidies for programs may be available depending on eligibility. Please let us know if you would like to find out if you are eligible for a subsidy.
Medicare benefits may be available to reduce the out-of-pocket expenses. We do not bulk bill. You will be required to pay the full fee and then claim the benefit through Medicare. Please ask for a copy of the Medicare benefits table and ask your GP or paediatrician if you are eligible for a Medicare benefit.
Invoices for funded clients will be emailed to the nominated address within 14 days of the date of service or program. Payment is due 14 days from the date of invoice.
Fee for service clients are required to pay at reception on the day of the appointment.
Charges for services
In order for Muddy Puddles to build a sustainable service in the Eurobodalla, we must implement reasonable charges for the activities involved in providing appropriate support to your child or young person. In addition to the face-to-face time you or your child spends with a practitioner, you will be charged for reports, documents and any time taken to review and plan supports for your child. This includes time spent collaborating with other important people in your child's life. We will be clear about our charges when you register with Muddy Puddles and we welcome you to contact us if you are ever unsure about our fees and charges.
Group program charges
We put a lot of time and effort into planning and delivering quality group programs. The price of a program is determined on a minimum number of enrolments and includes the time allocated for face-to-face delivery by practitioners and program assistants, planning, preparation and documentation. The weekly invoice for a program will usually show more hours than the length of the session to reflect the additional costs over and above the face-to-face time. If additional communication, planning or support is required, this will incur a separate charge which will be discussed with you.
You will be advised on enrolment about fees payable for a Muddy Puddles program.
The full program fee will be payable regardless of any non-attendance. All our programs require a minimum number of participants to proceed. If group numbers change during the course of the program, we may need to cancel the group or increase the price of a group to cover our costs. If this happens, we will discuss the options with you.

If you are unable to make it to a scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us by phone as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel an appointment, we ask you to give as much notice as possible (preferably at least 2 clear business days). Short notice cancellations (within 2 clear business days of an appointment) or “no shows” will be charged at 100% of the applicable rate. When you cancel an appointment, please let us know why you cannot attend.
We understand sometimes life gets in the way and you cannot attend scheduled appointments. We recommend you talk to your therapists and client supports about what activities they could work on if you are unable to attend an appointment.
You will receive an SMS reminder the day before your scheduled appointment (when appointments are made more than 2 days in advance). If you regularly miss or cancel appointments we will contact you to discuss how we can support you to attend your scheduled appointments. If non-attendance continues we may need to end our service agreement with you. We will be directed by the NDIS Pricing Arrangements for guidelines on charging for cancellations.
Most of our group programs rely on a minimum number of participants to go ahead. If we don’t receive sufficient enrolments or we have cancellations, we may need to cancel a program at short notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
If you have paid prior to receiving the service and it is found that you have not received the service as set out in the service agreement, you may be eligible for a refund. Please follow the complaints process and if it is found you are due a refund, this will be processed within 2 business days of the decision being made.
What happens if you cannot afford to pay?
Muddy Puddles understands that at times, families may experience financial stress and we encourage you to contact us if you are having difficulty making payments.
